UPDATE: Cherry Hill Police ID Victim in Fatal Pedestrian Accident

According to police, the victim was a 44-year-old Camden man, and the driver involved has been cooperative.

UPDATE (August 14, 2017): Cherry Hill Police have identified the victim in last week’s pedestrian fatality as 44-year-old Jose Martinez of Camden. No other details are immediately available.

Cherry Hill Police are looking for anyone who many have witnessed traffic conditions on Route 38 Thursday evening, when a pedestrian was hit and killed in front of the McDonald’s at Longwood Avenue.

Police said the accident happened along the eastbound lanes of the highway at 10:24 p.m.

In a statement, police said the driver involved “remained on location, and has been cooperating.”
