Twenty-four police recruits from seven police departments will graduate from Camden County College. Recruit Matthew F. Tippen will give the Class Leader’s address.

Nine of the recruits have bachelor’s degrees and six have associate’s degrees. The Basic Police Officer Course started August 1st.

The Camden County College Police Academy is located in the Regional Emergency Training Center on the Lakeland Campus of Camden County College in Blackwood, New Jersey. A significant part of the prestige that the Academy enjoys results from its association with the College. In fact, upon successful completion of the Basic Recruit Class, the trainees earn fifteen (15) college credits from Camden County College, including a six (6) credit First Responder course.
