Michelle Cann, pianist, appears by arrangement with the Curtis Institute of Music, where she holds the inaugural Eleanor Sokoloff Chair in Piano Studies.
“Cann has taken a special interest in the music of Florence Price and clearly believes in it. Beyond that advocacy, Cann also happens to be a masterful player with a commanding presence.” Seen and Heard International: July 7, 2021
Patrons of Music at Bunker Hill welcome Ms. Cann to our stage for the first time. Ms. Cann’s recital program is a thoughtful mix of Chopin, Brahms, Clara Schumann, Florence Price and Margaret Bonds.
