The Bob and Estelle Richter Hazak Fund presents a Special Performance of  No One is Alone:The Jewish Tradition on Broadway by Soprano Sarah Baumgarten on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2 PM at Temple Beth Sholom, 1901 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.

Enjoy works by Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, Loesser, Bock and Harnick, Sondheim, Hamlisch and Schwartz.

Sarah will be accompanied by Joseph Krupa, Pianist.

Tickets are $10 per person in advance. Students under 18 are free when attending with an adult. (a limit of 2  children per adult)

Sarah earned her Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, and Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Pennsylvania State University.

Sarah Baumgarten has no trouble showcasing her personality through the repertoire she performs. Favorite roles include Musetta (La Bohème), and Noémie (Cendrillon). She has been featured with Annapolis Opera, OperaWorks, IVAI, Delaware Valley Opera Company, Asheville Lyric Opera, and Garden State Opera. 2018 Performance highlights: Rebecca Kaplan in The Yellow Star (Garden State Opera); Suor Genovieffa (DVOC), and her concert premiere of No One is Alone: The Jewish Tradition on Broadway at the Jewish Museum of Maryland which she is excited to be reprising at Temple Beth Sholom!

Joseph Krupa, Pianist, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Music degree (Piano Performance) from the University of Calgary (Alberta, Canada), plus additional studies at the Banff Centre and Westminster Choir College.
A Cherry Hill resident, Joseph serves as Minister of Music at the First Presbyterian Church in Salem, NJ, and teaches private piano students throughout the South Jersey area.
