Scholarships and Sport – All in One Day
All for a Good Cause

PRESS RELEASE – Twenty-five students from Camden City High Schools will receive college scholarships at a dinner for them and their families on June 29, 2016 at the Pennsauken Country Club.

The event is sponsored by the Camden Schools Foundation, a 501(c)(3), that has been raising funds for Camden teens for more than decade. The scholarship presentation follows a round of golf at Pennsauken Country Club played by 100 generous sponsors and donors to the Foundation. The day-long fund raiser creates a unique opportunity for donors and recipients to share a meal and swap stories.
Beginning with lunch at noon, golfers will enjoy a carefree day of giveaways, prizes and a chance to go home with a brand new car, thanks to Subaru of America.
The 11th Annual Golf Outing is one of two major fundraisers sponsored by the Camden Schools Foundation each year. Proceeds support scholarships and other special needs that the city school district cannot afford.
Too busy for 18 holes? Come for the Scholarship Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. , or customize your donation.
“It’s a great day for a good cause,” says Camden Schools Foundation President Jack Tarditi.
