Cherry Hill Police Investigating Fatal Shooting of Delaware Man

Leopold McKoy of Bear, Delaware was discovered dead in a Cherry Hill apartment complex early Sunday morning. Police are seeking any information about the incident.

Police are investigating a homicide in a Cherry Hill apartment complex that was reported early April 4.

Around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, authorities responded to the Sergi Farms apartment complex in the 1700 block of Abbey Road, where they discovered a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO), that man was identified as 64-year-old Leopold McKoy of Bear, Delaware. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are investigating the events leading up to the shooting.
