A Pennsauken man has been indicted in the November 8, 2015 shooting death of 44-year-old Camden City resident Andre Matthews.

On that night, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, Camden County Police were alerted by the ShotSpotter system to gunfire in the 1400 block of Pershing Street in Camden at 3:12 a.m. Matthews was discovered lying on the sidewalk, and was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:32 a.m.

Authorities charged 25-year-old Bronk Miller with the crime in December; Miller’s indictment was just handed down by a grand jury.

All persons charged in connection with a crime are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. An arrest is not a conviction.
