Collingswood Commissioners Split on Virtua EMS Services Bid
Collingswood firefighter-EMTs have been overworked amid call volumes that have spiked in the past decade and cratered morale, Fire Chief Geoff Joyce says. Virtua Health EMTs could ease some of that workload, but borough leaders are divided on bringing them in. Attorneys General Condemn Suspension of SNAP Benefits as ‘Illegal,’ ‘Unconstitutional,’ ‘Deliberate’
The Attorneys General from New Jersey, New York, Minnesota, and California have challenged the withholding of SNAP benefits in court four times since October 28. The top lawyers in each of their respective states say they have ‘whiplash’ from ‘vague and contradictory’ arguments from USDA, the federal agency that distributes the benefits some 75,000 Camden County residents rely upon.
