Haddonfield Advances Bancroft Redevelopment with Woodmont Properties Amid Two Lawsuit Settlements, Builder’s Remedy Threats

A month after removing the conditional tag from its agreement with Woodmont Properties, Haddonfield commissioners agreed to revisit proposals from all nine bidders for the Bancroft redevelopment project under a judge’s order. They settled on Woodmont again, citing pressure to resolve the borough’s affordable housing deficit, or risk a builder’s remedy lawsuit.
