UPDATE: Camden City Man, 18, Charged with Murder of Pennsauken Woman in Reported Home Invasion

UPDATE: 11:55 p.m. January 12, 2022 — An 18-year-old Camden City man has been charged in the January 9 shooting death of 62-year-old Darlene Randall of Pennsauken.

Joshua Johnson was arrested in Newark today by the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO).

He has been remanded to the Camden County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Randall was found shot early Sunday morning in what authorities reported as a home invasion.

According to the CCPO), officers responded to the Sycamore Ridge Apartments in the 3700 block of Herbert Avenue at 1:52 a.m. January 9.

There they discovered Randall suffering from a gunshot wound.

Randall was transported to Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, and succumbed to her injury at 2:26 a.m.

All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. An arrest is not a conviction.
