Police Seek Suspects in Woodlynne Gas Station Robbery, Shooting

A pair of men is wanted in connection with an armed robbery of the Citgo gas station on Mt. Ephraim Avenue in which a 52-year-old Camden man was beaten and shot in the leg.

Police are asking for help identifying two suspects who are wanted in the armed robbery of a Woodlynne gas station and the shooting of a Camden man who worked there.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. January 11, when the men demanded money from an attendant at the Citgo gas station on Mount Ephraim Avenue, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said one man threatened the attendant, then shot him in the leg, after which both men beat him and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects were described as slimly built, wearing ski masks and dark clothing.
