Haddonfield Citizen Group Fundraises $18K for Police License Plate Reader Cameras

Six months after a rash of vehicle burglaries, the citizen group Haddonfield Safe is committed to supporting public safety from the public sector. Borough police and officials say crime is at a 10-year low.

Haddonfield will dedicate $500,000 to technology installations at its upcoming police station, while Merchantville will spend $850,000 improving its multi-use walking path.

Haddonfield to Renegotiate Tavistock Shared Services Agreement, Citing Rising Costs, Calls for Service

Haddonfield has provided police, fire, and public works services to its Tavistock neighbors at rates last negotiated in 1992. For 2023, the total bill was around $32,000. Haddonfield says that's not enough.
