Both entities hope to identify new funding sources for district and community needs; consolidate office, academic, and recreation spaces; and manage future capital improvements for the district and community at large. Before any of that, however, they must plug a $3.6-million hole in the district operating budget in the next few weeks.

Borough officials say they are eager to partner on the issue, but also want to weigh in on the board’s budget construction and resolve contract negotiations with its teachers union.

This spring, Collingswood voters will head to the polls to elect three people to serve as commissioners in its municipal government. Residents Meghan Adamoli, Amy Henderson Riley, and Daniela Solano-Ward are the first to officially declare their candidacies under the slogan “Collingswood Forward.”
