Battleship NJ to Undergo $25M ‘Transformative’ Renovations
The project will create a parking garage, visitor center, and other improvements to the most decorated battleship in U.S. Naval history and the berth in which it is housed. Camden County Honors 101-Year-Old Battleship New Jersey Crewman, Saipan Landing
Paul Robbins, one of the last living connections to the original deployment of the Iowa-class battleship USS New Jersey, was just 18 when he sailed for the Pacific theater of operations.
